Psychiatric Services

Initial Evaluation

$250 | 90 Minutes

During the initial evaluation, I'll learn more about your personal and health history to assist in identifying and treating your presenting concern. We will consider underlying biological, social, and psychological factors to aid in the development of a safe and personalized treatment plan. The goal of this evaluation is to gain a better understanding of you and how psychiatric treatments can help you live by your values and achieve your goals.

The evaluation will involve a thorough clinical interview as well as a series of questionnaires. A complete evaluation often includes laboratory and other health screenings that will be ordered as indicated after the initial evaluation.

After the evaluation, you will be provided with information regarding diagnostic impressions and treatment recommendations. You are encouraged to ask any questions you might have about the different types of treatment options.

Like any other relationship, it’s important to make sure this fit is right. As such, we will decide together whether we should move forward in treatment. If it turns out we’re not the right fit—regardless of the reason—we’ll discuss other options that may be better able to address your needs.

Medication Management

$125 | 30 Minutes

Follow ups are typically 30 minutes in length and occur at varying frequency depending on your specific needs and our corresponding treatment plan. In the early stages of treatment, appointments typically occur on a bi-weekly or monthly basis. Once we have identified the appropriate treatment regimen and are achieving the desired outcomes, follow-ups appointments may occur less frequently, often reducing to every three months. To assure safe, effective, and quality care, we recommend one follow-up appointment at least every three months.

While I can provide treatment to address a wide-range of psychological concerns, I have particular expertise in the following areas:

  • Bipolar, Mania, and Depression

  • Psychosis and Schizophrenia

  • Substance Use Disorders (At this time I do not offer opioid replacement treatments. However, I do offer Naltrexone and Vivitrol in the treatment of alcohol and opioid use disorders when indicated)

  • Anxiety Disorders

  • ADHD (using non-stimulant interventions)

  • Obsessive-Compulsive and Related Disorders

  • Trauma- and Stressor-Related Disorders

Telehealth or In-Person

Psychiatric services can be provided either in-person at our offices or remotely via telehealth.

Telehealth appointments are hosted on a secure HIPAA compliant program with video and audio capabilities. Telehealth is a relatively new and increasingly utilized format with which to deliver mental healthcare allowing more people to access high quality mental healthcare. All you need is a device with audio and video capabilities, a strong internet connection, and a private space in which to use it.

Please specify your preference for in-person or telehealth appointments when scheduling. While telehealth can be widely utilized, under certain circumstances your provider may recommend an in-person appointment. At this time, psychiatric services (in-person or via telehealth) are only available for individuals within the state of Arizona.
